WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
Whatever your style is -- white and clean, a classic, bold stripe, or a hat or headband for a textured, playful feel! I always recommend envisioning where you want these photos displayed -- on a gallery wall, in a playroom, on a grandparent's mantle -- and matching that feel. Keep in mind, your child will be photographed from the waist up -- so no worries about the bottom half. Just make sure your kiddo is comfortable -- and if in doubt, keep it simple: a white or black tee is timeless!
Finally, feel free to bring a lovey or book or any accessory they love and represents this age -- we'll work that in, too!
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING OUR SESSION?
Depending on their age and comfort level, your child will sit on my kid-sized bench, Bumbo or directly on the white backdrop. I'll spend a few minutes visiting with your buddy, showing them my camera and what it looks like when I take a picture of them -- just getting them acclimated to the process. Then I start clicking away! I have a number of stand questions I ask -- "Where's your biggest smile?" | "Who's the funniest person you know?" | "Can you show me your muscles?"-- but this is the best part where I let your child's personality shine... and trust me, it always shines!
WHAT IF MY CHILD JUST AIN'T HAVING IT?
Not to worry -- we're all parents, and we all get it! If they need a moment, they can have a moment... or two! A little walk or a cuddle is sometimes all it takes. Regardless, take a deep breath, Mama -- we got this!
IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?
The short answer:
No. Every age is worth documenting -- big or small, I've photographed it all!
The long(er) answer:
For this style of photography, it is helpful if the child can sit up on their own. If your buddy is younger than that, give me a heads-up, and I will be prepared with a Bumbo or blanket.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
Waiting is the worst, is it not? My goal is always to get you the photos back as quickly as possible, sharing a "sneak peek" when able!

HOW WILL YOU DELIVER MY PHOTOS?
You will receive the full gallery in Pixieset via email. Your gallery will be password protected with all images available for high-resolution download with a designated PIN. Print and share as you'd like!
